When travel becomes a family tradition

When your mother happens to be a travel agent, you’re pretty lucky—you grow up with the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful places in the world. And for this beautiful family from the States, traveling together has become an annual tradition. Every year, when the family gathers for their travels, they make time for a family photo session—creating memories of the people they love and the places they discover together.

This year, their destination was Chania, Crete, and I had the pleasure of photographing them during a two-hour family session around the old Venetian Harbor. With four daughters, a fiancé, a boyfriend, and of course Mom and Dad, we explored different corners of the harbor and beyond, creating a variety of images—from individual portraits and couples to the whole family together. We finished at the iconic Chania Lighthouse as the sun was setting, with that beautiful warm Cretan light turning the final moments into something truly special.

It was an absolute special occasion for me to photograph Maria and Manos’s beautiful wedding day—not just as their photographer, but as family witnessing Maria marry such a wonderful man.
Their celebration was a perfect blend of tradition and modern elegance, bringing together friends and relatives for an unforgettable day. From the heartfelt preparation and emotional first look to their breathtaking sunset ceremony by the ocean, every moment was filled with warmth and joy.

Love found its perfect moment in the old Venetian harbor of Chania, Crete.
A young man living the United Kingdom chose this stunning location—right next to the iconic lighthouse—to ask the most important question of his life.

As the golden hour painted the sky, he presented a beautiful ring, and she said “I do.” The magic didn’t stop there. We captured their first moments as an engaged couple, watching the sun dip below the horizon in one of Greece’s most romantic settings.
From ground level to aerial shots, every angle told the story of their love against the timeless backdrop of Chania’s Venetian harbor. Congratulations to this beautiful couple on the beginning of their forever! 💍

Pre wedding photo shoot in Vienna Austria. Sebastian & Maggie live in Vienna and are getting married this year in @visitpaleochoracrete Crete in Greece. And I will be their lucky photographer for the event. During my recent visit to city of music the couple and I walked around the historical center that was so inspiring. A fun time and a fantastic way to get to know the couple before our reunion on the South of Crete this July. Most images were shot on #kodakportra along with some bits and pieces of video.

Spoiler.
The first picture is like travelled in time and actually happened as you see it. A period dressed up gentleman was in front of the Museum of Nature History writing poetry (ok on his phone). I snuck up and quickly got this stunning shot.

So during my recent trip to Vienna this May, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a couple’s pre-wedding shoot. They live in Vienna and will be getting married this summer in @visitpaleochoracrete , Crete.
